Winter and Spring 2018 Discipleship

Winter and Spring Discipleship Courses for Adults

These courses will begin on Sunday, February 11 at 5:30pm.  We will take breaks for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.  All courses will conclude on or before Sunday, April 29.

  • A Biblical Study of 1, 2, 3 John and Philippians – Join Dr. Ron Hinson for a biblical study of these four New Testament books.  This course will engage participants in a better understanding of the background, cultural context, purpose, and life application of each of these letters.
  • God’s Mysterious Ways – Lauren Glatz will be leading this course written by Jane Roach.  This study looks at the book of Esther, a book that never mentions the name of God but reveals His providence through each word.  Participants will learn to see God’s hand in their own circumstances for a renewed sense of peace and hope.
  • Financial Peace University – This course is a Dave Ramsey study.  Mike Harrison will be leading participants through the Financial Peace University plan to pay off debt, budget, save, and set goals for the future.  If you are looking to honor God with the way you handle your money, this is the course for you! • Searching for Happiness – What is the key to happiness?  Our world tells us that in order to be happy you must have a thin waist, a thick wallet, career success, and more.  This course by Martin Thielen will engage participants in true happiness – the things of God.  Toni Robison will lead this course on finding sincere contentment in generosity, faith, and other spiritual habits.
